Today is the first day being away from my little "Sky".

How did Skylar Kadi Roy get her name?

What kind of name is that? Ok.. here is the "real" story Skylar: She was conceived and spent most of her pregnant life in Breckenridge, Colorado. The thing we loved so much about Colorado was the amazing sky. Every night we watched the most amazing sunsets and alpenglow from our back porch and the bluebird days were unreal. Kadi:Because we have the most amazing grandmas Kathy and Dianne. We took the 1st 2 letters from both names. Kadi (kaydee)

Skylar Roy has arrived & she's perfect!

Skylar Kadi Roy was born on 12/19/07.
She weighed 9 lbs. 10 oz and was 21" long.
It's wonderful being a grandma and grandpa.
She is our little "Sky".
