Mayzee's Graduation

Mayzee took part in an 8 week beginner dog education program at the local La Quinta Petsmart. She attended all classes and graduated yesterday being called "the best in class"!
Linda was our trainer and we couldn't have done it without her! Thanks Linda and thanks Petsmart!! We love you Mayzee!

Today we took a 4 mile hike on the Pacific Coast Trail to celebrate Deanna's Birthday.

What a great day we had together. Lunch was waiting for us when we got off the mountain.

Happy Birthday dear Deanna, we are now the same age (smiles).

The Whitewater perseve is a historic lodge & former trout farm that has been restored and is now used as a visitor facility. The picnic area & ponds are overshadowed by steep cliffs where bighorn sheep thrive along with numerous raptors. The trail from the visitor facility will lead you to the Whitewater River, the Pacific Crest Trail and the San Gorgonio Wilderness in just half a mile. This is a must see if you are in the Palm Springs area. There is no charge to enjoy the park.
